The Pickwick BFL yesterday was tough but yielded some amazing catches with 3 fish over 10# weighed in and 20# stringers that weren't even 5 fish limits. I will post an article on Tuesday about the lake and how it is fishing on my website www.midsouthbassfishing.com.
Sunsets and sunrises make every fishing trip it's own experience. They are a favorite part of my days on the water and make for a great backdrop for my time on the water. Wish could see them more often.
Cold snowy day on Kentucky lake today. Took 23# to win and about 12# to get a check for the 154 boaters that participated today. Most people caught their fish on jerkbaits, jigs, and Alabama rigs. Fish have moved to prespawn locations and were hard to catch today but as usual a few people figured it out.
I am not a pro fisherman just Joe Average out here trying to enjoy the outdoors. I love to bass fish and love the competition of tournament fishing as well. Hope you find something within my sight that is entertaining or informative..
